Ordered KMC Machete wheels today

Got 17 x 9s and Nitto Trail Grapplers in 37x17x13.5 for my JT. Any thoughts about the ideal setback. So far, I think we're planning on 5.75 but very interested to hear what others are going with using 13.5 x 37s

What is setback? Are you talking backspacing?

What Overlander said, assuming you meant to say back spacing, you really want to be running 4.5" of back spacing or less with 13.50 wide tires. 3.5" is the most common back spacing.

The Machete's in a 17x9 are in fact a -38mm offset/3.5 backspacing so you definitely will not be at 5.75 backspacing. I would also double check the tires you got as a 37x17 Nitto Trail Grappler only comes in a 12.50 wide. Unless you got Mud Grapplers or Ridge Grapplers.

Thanks for telling me. I was asking dealer for a 37x13.5 tire to get more floatation, but something is wrong, you are correct. Joining this site is going to tighten my shot group for sure.

Checked, the Trail Grapplers spec is 37x12.5 although it lists the overall width at 13.43"
