Nut Test

Haha made you look. Seriously though, here’s a mystery wrapped in an enigma. I backed out of my garage just now, and under my Jeep near the front of my left rear tire was this mysterious nut. I can’t imagine where it came from, but I feel like it had to come from my Jeep. Any ideas? It’s a 1/2 inch flange nut. There isn’t any dirt or grime on it so it probably wasn’t from the underbelly.

OP, that nut does look aftermarket. Who knows. It actually looks like it might be from your garage door track.

Virtually all fasteners on modern Jeeps are metric. So either that’s from an aftermarket add on or unrelated to your Jeep.

I agree with WJCO, well and long arm too really, but I’ve not seen a factory nut with that type of lock washer on it
