I own a 2012 4dr JKU I recently bought 18" XD monster wheels. I love the Trail Grapplers and have decided to get them. The 295/70r18 is technically 34.6 inches. If I were to get them could I run them with stock suspension until I get a lift or would I need to get a lift before? Also, would I need to regear?

People on the internet claim to be able to run 35s with no lift. I quickly looked at your profile and didn't see any info on your jeep. I personally wouldn't run 35s with no lift because I think you would limit your ability to go off road at all. Cut your fenders maybe? Also, (not knowing anything about your rig) yes you should re-gear, but that doesn't need to be done right away. Just understand that you will loose some power on and off road. Hope this helps

I'm going to get a lift within a month I just wondered if it'd be ok for that month if I'm just on the road?

Would you be able to get the tires but not mount them untill you get the lift? Also, saw that you have a 14 JKUR, pretty sure they all came with the 3.73 gears, you will be fine on road with 35s by off road you should think about re-gearing. Also if you live in a hilly area you will struggle around a little.

No I have a 2012 JKU. I just don't like the look of 33's they look too small to me. I live in Louisiana so not many hills and I really only off road for hunting.

Yeah I have and if I do get the 35's I'll just wait till I get my lift but then people are saying I should regear. Is it necessary or not?

Here is the gear chart for our engine. Yes, you should re-gear if you did not get the 4.10 gears
