As luck would have it, Nitto and EVO had a 2 Day run down in Bullhead Arizona the same weekend as our WAYALIFE New Year Kick Off Run and being that ours ended in Laughlin (just across the river), Cindy and I got to join them on their Sunday one. Anyway, here are a few pics from the fun we had that day.

Shot of all the rigs meeting up along the Colorado River.

Heading out to the trailhead on a cold but epic morning.

Out on dirt and working our way up to some good times on the rocks.

For those of you who know the trail, this is a crazy steep drop, even in a Wrangler and the photo of this one doesn't do it justice. Of course, thanks to the long wheel base of a Gladiator, I couldn't even tell when it was supposed to feel bad LOL

A taller stance has it's advantages for sure but it can have a way of putting your mirror and roof really close to a rock wall when running a bit off camber LOL

A long wheel base makes this dry fall feel like driving up a boat ramp.

I was once told that a rig like this is too big and too long to do a trail like this. How the breakover angles and hangover was too much... umm, yeah.

And finally, up on top and with a hell of a view.

Looked like an awesome time and fun trail. Really wish I could have stuck around to join you guys 😫
Actually, it was a lot of fun and wished you could have joined us. We were literally off the trail by noon LOL
Great shots of your rig!
LOL - everyone was built and moving through the trail. Didn't have much time to get much of anyone but ourselves.

I should note that toward the end of the trail, it gets to be good fast fun and even though Cindy and I were originally mid pack, the people in front of us were nice enough to let us by. Needless to say, we pushed really hard and even to our surprise, were able to catch up to Mel in his 392. Of course, this got him to stop to switch rigs to have some fun on his kick ass suspension and to let us test out what he had on his 392. And, no surprise, driving our JT like a bat out of hell, there was no way we could keep up and in spite of the AWESOME power his 392 has with 4.56 gears and running 38's (I so need to regear now). Admittedly, we didn't want to do anything stupid in his rig and that held us back but even with the really nice suspension setup he had, it just wasn't as forgiving as the trailing arms. You just couldn't make the same kind of mistakes and be forgiven for them LOL

Yep, that’s it, DEF headed that way soon. I was just telling Monica we need to attend this event when it happens—well, THAT did not go as planned! For reals, we can’t wait to join yall so I can see what my JT needs next. Besides a HEMI. And a million other things! DSCF3842.jpeg
