My name is Dave and I'm from Gilroy, Ca! I used to have a 2001 Tj sport we called Big Bird, but when my daughter was born, it had to make way for a car she would be a tad safer in. Fast forward 10 years, a small car, and that f150 in the background of the pic, and I'm finally back in a new to me 2018 JLUR I'm calling Big Blue! So far, bone stock (unless you count the stubby antenna and some paracord handles i made for my kids to climb in with) but very well taken care of with the original owner and just over 50k miles. Not a lot of gnarly plans for it, but a solid 2-3" lift and possibly 37's in its future, but really for ground clearance on easy trails to get to fishing spots. going to be a long, slow build over a few years but my first plan is a soft top!!! Paint doesn't need to be pristine, but if the top doesn't go down, what's the point?!?!?!
