Have you considered the heat soak of the aluminum?The thing is I already have to take the top manifold off to perform the tune up, that and I'm going to replace the oil cooler as well,
so, after porting the lower manifold may as well install it seeing as how other than porting it there is really no extra labor in the install
because I'll port it before I begin the job. It will be spring before I do any of this and will dive deeper into this matter.
A new PCV valve should be very exciting. Not much involving the engine is more interesting than Positive Crankcase Ventilation!Ok so I opened, ported and polished the JK manifold and waiting for the Superchip coils and PCV valve. I have surgery coming up in a week and a half, when I have recovered enough I'm doing a complete block up project.
