Glad you made it out! Utah Offroad recovery on FB. Great group!!! I put your number over to one of the directors. Any number of guys would have been there if we could have gotten ahold of you.

I cannot thank you enough for doing that. It was chaos this morning trying to get things figured out that I likely missed the phone call and didn't know it.

I would like to say that if anyone on this forum EVER needs any help of any kind just say the word. Depending on where it make take a few days for me to get there, but I will answer that call no matter what.

great you got out :thumb:

was that just a wet patch of clay slick mud or was it more like a quicksand??

the area next to the tire looked dry...or maybe it was just an upper crust to the hell beneath it

They dragged it about 500 yards to the hard pack where I took this picture. It was stuck in some nasty goo that wasn't ok the surface. I later discovered that I broke through an upper crust and it sank down to its axles. When I initially got stuck I stopped before it dug big holes but it just kept sinking. Sank all the way to frame rails by the time it was dark. We buttoned it up for the night and waited for the sherif to show up.
