Locking my car and no horn sounds...

Ok so I went to lock my rig and didn't hear the horn I than unlocked it and tried locking it again and nothing.. I checked the connection to my horn even honked it and my horn is all good it's just when I used the key fob that it didn't sound... Than to follow it wouldn't unlock I had to do this manually.. I even tried my second key fob with new battery in it and still nothing... Does anyone have input?? Should I try and disconnect my battery and reconnect than try again??
 
Maybe you switched off the horn-on-lock in the EVIC(instrument cluster)? It's in the personal settings on newer JK's. Not sure if yours has that feature.
 
Not sure about the '07. Mine is a '15. In the personal settings menu on the dash cluster, it allows you to change a bunch of stuff like the amount of time the headlights stay on after turning the engine off, how the doors unlock, lights on with wipers, and, horn-honk-on-lock. I'm sure you can manipulate your settings somehow if it's different than the newer JK's. You can't break it by pressing all the buttons. Good luck.
 
Ok I tried disconnecting the battery that didn't fix it.. So I tried something else I read on a Google search.. The solution was hold the lock button down for at least 5 seconds than hit the panic button. This solved my problem maybe this will help others.. Thanks for your help.
