Hey jeepers - new here and loving all the inspiration. Here's to hoping I can help someone out - I really wanted some lighted vents from AMoffroad but didnt want to spend the $400. I decided to go it on my own - some Amazon packages later and here is the results - I am putting them in the Jeep tomorrow. Until then here are some build photos.

Step 1 - remove vents - There are videos on youtube to help.
Step 2 - I had to sand the internal sides of the vent so the LEDs and connector would stick. I used a Ryobi rotary tool.

Step 4 - trim LEDs into 9 Lights and install the connector so RED wire goes to positive.
Step 5 - Glue onto inside of vent
Step 6 - Install in car and wire up to your switch box or add a toggle switch with relay.
