* Tried to post in Lighting & Electrical but it wouldn't let me*
I recently installed a set of side mirrors with LED DRL lights & blinkers. Unfortunately the DRL lights are way too bright at night but the blinkers don't work without them on. I'm new to this & haven't installed any accessory switches or the panel yet. I read someone that a guy got around this by installing a switch that had a low & high setting. How would that be done? Right now I have it grounded, tapped into DRL fuse, & tapped blinker. I've been looking online for a switch that does that but I can't find one either.
So two questions: can I put a dimmable switch in the blank switch thats already in the stock dash? How would I wire a switch with a low & high setting or dimmable switch?
Thanks guys! Here is stock pictures of the mirrors I got. I'll post mine on my Jeep asap.
