I saw this in an article on how FCA will address the emission concerns:

This according to an autonews.com report, which states: "With the news, the design of the next-generation Wrangler -- which must shed weight and improve its aerodynamics to improve its fuel economy -- is beginning to come more fully into view. The SUV will have a lighter, aluminum body and be smaller than the current model. It will have a fixed windscreen with a significant rake to improve its aerodynamics." From this article: http://www.autonews.com/article/20150215/OEM03/302169971/next-gen-wrangler-will-keep-solid-axles

I am so effin glad I get my JK next month.. so frickin glad.

That's got to be the ugliest Jeep I have ever seen. Even George Jetson wouldn't ride in that shit.

Bahahaha, clearly a phony photochop. Sure, it may have a SLIGHTLY more angled windshield than now, but let's be real...they aren't putting that out.

Not sure what to think. I don't like anything I have seen so far, so hopefully as we get a little closer the designs won't look as weird. I like the idea of weight savings, but what's that going to cost us?

That article is a year old, I wouldn't put much credence to it.

Yes, I agree. I just saw this part and did not realize it was 2015 versus 2016.

I hear you. My concern was how ugly that was and it is hoped that the Italians decide against that. This article is a bit more up to date: http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/...-diesel-hybrid-and-pickup-truck-variants.html

I guess I am still happy though. I like the idea of diesel, but hybrid? It will be interesting to see.

LMAO!!! You're my boy Blue!!

I would love to see a diesel as well, but I'm not holding my breath.
