Ok you three, we get it, we like the run too. Quit wheeling and do your job. Enough is enough. Start dumping some effing snow already. Otherwise, the Rubicon (and the rest of the Western United States) is likely to burn to a crisp this summer.

Maybe 25% of normal. If we don't get something soon, and a lot of it, the summer will be rough.

I'm planned to do a snow survey this month. I was up at Helms and there water level is less than half from what I understand.

The system that I work on has no water to run any of the facilities. It's looking really bad this coming year with everyone that depends on water.

Sucks all the way around. Thankfully I did not buy ski passes this year.

Probably no campfires this summer. :grayno:

Today it was 85 in the SFV. Horrible.
They just extinguished the Glendora fire. We never have fires until late summer.

San Luis Obispo was the hottest city in the Nation the other day!
Central Coast cities have consistently broken records for heat this January.

I thought I had read something like 11% of avg as of Jan 1....

This summer is going to be bad... it was 54ish at 4PM today. I hope my lawn comes back or I sell this house before it's time to turn on the water(per the calendar). ;)

:cheesy:

Yeah short sleeves today on the walk and then we made ice cream and ate it outside. WTF?!

We need some snow bad!

Oh and I skipped the pass this year too. 👍

Honestly, you're kinda making me want to try and run it now. I'd be willing you could do it without too much fuss.

Actually, I hear that while there isn't much snow, it's really icy especially on the backside. Personally, I'd take snow over ice any day. Pretty sure you can run Loon to the Little Sluice and maybe a bit further.

Anything with northern exposure or in the shade should be all sorts of icy. "Icy off camber" are not really three words that I enjoy together.

Plus, if I can't use the rope swing, I'm not going. ;)

I guess you could bring some chains or studded tires.
