Back on topic (I think) ... If you go on Craigslist you can get a new screen and have it installed for $25 in Garden Grove. :yup: But some of you may not be safe or allowed in The GG. If you are coming this way let me know and I can provide safe passage.

LOL!

There are kits available for that price, but those were the ones with mixed reviews. I'm guessing they don't come with the tools. :idontknow: Doing this again, I would imagine it would take less than 30 minutes and for someone doing it alot I would suspect they could do it even faster.

Regardless, it is much cheaper than paying $200 at the Genius bar. :doh:
 
I saw one with the tool online for $15. I think I am going to order it just to compare and see if its any good. Although mine would be for the back screen.

not having an iPhone of any number and not being a KINGpin around here, i foolishly assumed this thread would have nothing to offer me. boy was i sorely mistaken!

I must always remember that any thread which is started and/or replied to by MTG is going to be pure entertainment! i have learned that Overlander smells of urine, the pig/chris/01 (whatever his name is this week) is a bully, that MTG will soon be a best selling author and that 10frank9 is not a KINGpin either!!! oh and you can repair your iPhone screen... :thumbup:
