Caught the Bug
I just thought I'd pass this along to anyone who cares. Growing tired of "bloody thumbs" from my cracked iPhone and not wanting to upgrade yet (I have a 4 and a 5) because I want to see what comes out next, I looked into screen replacements. I had previously paid Apple for a new phone due to a damaged screen and didn't want to shell out $$$ for a "new" iphone 4. Several people and various online reviews describe it as a difficult and less than satisfactory process. Despite this, I decide to order up a kit and give it a go.

Let me tell you...I wish I had done it much sooner! After $65 and 45 minutes of time, the phone is as good as new. Seriously, piece of cake!

:cheesy: This is true. I thought for sure my fat albino sausage fingers (Sharkey's term) and the little screws would be a complete disaster!!

I don't know why everyone always has to say stuff to me and make fun of me when I ask a question. I'm just trying to learn.

I "fixed" my iPhone 2? It was a complete fucking disaster. The microphone and speaker did not work afterwards.

Maybe the newer iPhones are easier

I don't know why some people are bothered by that? I could give two shits about anybody's post count...particularly my own, but some people think I do it for a reason other than to welcome new members. Reason number 458 why I hate people. :cheesy:
