Native Floridian, who has lived in NC, NYC, TX and back to FL stopping by to say hi. We bought a Billet 2015 JKU sport as my wife's DD last week. It replaces her decently built FJCruiser that I have owned since new in 2008. It was a great truck that never skipped a beat in 101,400 miles but it was time for a Jeep. The Jeep will get a mild build. For her Birthday in 2 weeks I am buying or have already bought Safari take off wheels, Toyo Open Country ATii's, Spidertrax spacers, Evo Leveling kit, e-auto bumper and a Warn or Superwinch. The bumper arrived today. I'll replace the shocks (I like coilovers) and she might get a rear bumper with spare tire holder later. That's it for hers a while. However, I have wanted a JKU since they came out and am in search of an older 2wd or high mileage 4wd or possibly a wreck for me to build. It will get built over time to be a go anywhere rig. That should be a fun family project. I DD a Ram 2500 Cummins with a lot of HP, ridiculous torque and a Thuren/Carli suspension on 34" Toyo ATiis.
Enough about us. Howdy from a couple of Jeep newbies in SWFL.
