Hello All!
Been lurking around here for the better part of a year ooooh'ing and aaaaah'ing at everyone's Jeeps and the awesome Jeep films. I've had an '04 Jeep Liberty for about 7 years now...it's treated me well (for the most part).
I walked into a Jeep dealership last month knowing exactly what I wanted (because it was what I always wanted)...but with the mindset that I was going to get up and walk out if I didn't get my Jeep for the price that I wanted.
About 30 minutes and one 'fake' step outside to make a 'phone-call' (c'mon, if the dealer is gonna play games, I want to have fun too!)...I had the deal I wanted and my order was placed for a 2014 White JKU Rubicon. The dealership told me it was going to be about a 6-8 week wait for it to be built and delivered. They have seen then come in as quickly as 5...but I'm not gonna hold my breath.
The waiting has been pretty tough so far (especially because the freaking VOTS website has been down)...but I know it'll be worth it in the long run!
...in the mean time I bought some mirrors for when the doors come off and I've been scouring Craigslist for a deal on a soft-top.
Thus far, this forum has been an absolute wealth of knowledge for me! I hope to be able to contribute just as much and more than I have gotten from it!
Hope to have some pictures and updates on everything in the near future!
