Hello! I've been following this website for a few years now, poking my head in from time to time. I don't actually own a JK and I've been jumping from beater car to beater car trying to work my way up to one. Well I finally got into a 2004 TJ and I can't be happier to finally be apart of the Jeep nation. Still working for that JK, yellow 2012 is the goal, but I'm much more content to wait now :). Hopefully I can go out on some trail runs with you guys, I can't wait to actually hit the dirt!

Welcome aboard and welcome to this way of life! I'm not too far from you. A stones throw actually. I wish you the best and please use this forum/ community to your advantage there is a lot of good information, opinions and experience levels here.
 
Thanks guys! Ya, I've found a ton of great write ups on how to get started in the off roading/rock crawling field. Right now unfortunately I'm working on the financial part of the build haha. But soon I'll be ready to start purchasing things... I hope
