I picked up my new-to-me 2011 JK about 4 weeks ago. I had a 1996 XJ (4.0 I6) and had a real blast with that throughout college. I sold it with 260K on the odometer in 2005. I'm excited to be back in the Jeep family!
The picture is from the day I drove my new JK home. I really wanted a 2012 or newer with the 3.6 Pentastar, but decided that if I found an earlier year that had everything I was looking for except the engine, I would add a Ripp supercharger. So, here she is, pre-supercharged.
The supercharger arrived last Friday. It's currently laid out on my workbench, ready to be installed. I didn't have time to install the unit before we left to go camping in the mountains last weekend, so the install is slated for this weekend. Will post more pictures of the install when I can.
I also picked up the Teraflex Performance Leveling Kit in anticipation for some new, slightly larger (34"), Nitto's for the winter. The used M/T's that she came with are pretty worn.
