Front passenger shock replacement

While replacing shocks, I discovered the joy of turning a 9/16" wrench in a 3 inch slot. Any pro tips for getting proper torque in this tight space? (See attached)

I don't have any pics with me but I used a pair of nips and cut some of the plastic to get to the nut better.

Used a Dremel and accomplished the same... some shock stems will be too long to fit without cutting a bit anyway. I also find that cussing like a sailor and cursing the cynical Chrysler engineers typically helps.

Mines a bit different being RHD but I had a similar problem on the left side. Just trim the plastic with a hammer and chisel

^^^ same here with the cussing , that always helps. And I'm pretty proud of myself if I only bleed once.

I got it by hand with the fox shocks. With the King shocks, the washer and bushings were so huge, I had to get the dremel out with a roto-zip bit and cut all that plastic away.

I wound up trimming the plastic also after 15-20 minutes of fighting with it.....I was installing Rancho 9000s
