FIRE EXTINGUISHER Mounts for JL & JT

Another idea for fire extinguisher mount.
Thought of this, and going to do it, but thinking of horizontal mount and up high in the back of my Tuffy Box. The jack doesnt leak on its side. Better then moving around loose in the back.

I like the idea of this, but curious if the mount will handle that weight over the long haul, especially while off-roading. Keep us posted.👍

Fire extinguishers are NOT for fighting fires. They are for escape from a fire.

With that said, they should be located for easy access by either driver or passenger.

Most vehicle fires are under the hood, involving fuel and electricity. Even a 20 lb. bottle is not going to put it out by the time you get there.

There, that's the PSA for fire safety.

I know I am late to the game on this one... but I found this.
You have to pop off the plastics to mount it... but if you want the plastics back on there, all you need to do is dremel out a small groove (about 1/8") on the side of the plastics, and it will pop back on over the bracket where it mounts to the C-Pillar. You can get it for either driver or passenger side, or even one for both and only costs $40
