EVO - Double Throw Down Vs Coilovers

Hey Everyone,

I'm currently running a stage 5 setup by Icon on my 2012. It's good but things are starting to get soft and I don't think the shocks are worth having serviced... I'm starting to make my plans now for this revamp/rebuild. I've watched countless videos on both setups but I can't really pinpoint why I would choose 1 over the other.

I live in GA and am looking for something that will be beneficial for both styles of off-roading as we find ourselves in a decent amount of mud but can run into some really challenging rock obstacles as well.

I don't daily drive it but I do drive it around some. Would like to also be able to drive it places vs trailing it.

The ONLY reason to spend the money on an EVO DTD is if you spend a lot of time driving hard and fast across the desert. A standard coilover system couldn't hold a candle to it. For everything else, a standard coil and shock lift will get the job done fine and basic coilovers will offer a bit more flex.
