OK, so I have been wanting a Jeep for a while now. So, I kept passing one on a little used car lot for a couple weeks. I finally stopped and test drove it. I bought it the next day.
It is a 2007 with 41k miles. It has a 3" Teraflex lift with Teraflex shocks, 1" body spacers, frameless top, flat fenders, cowl armor, cowl lights, 315/75/16 ProComp Xterrains on 16x10 ProComp wheels, etc.
Unfortunately I have had to spend my fixing up money on repairs. I had to replace the rear rotors, pads, front u-joints, axle seals, rear drive shaft, wiper blades and driving lights right off the bat. I also added an adjustable track bar and had the tires balanced.
I added a Rampage bumper and a Badlands 9k winch. I know it's HF but it has pulled me out 4x already. For $279 with a 1-yr warranty I figured I would try it.
I have taken it out a couple times but I would rather ride trails than go mudding.
Today, I picked up a used hardtop off craigslist.
