It's time for me to get a stinger bumper, I was thinking in getting the smittybilt stinger.
Any one has a suggestion for a inexpensive bumper? Please don't say Evo, I will love to get one but 800+ is to much for me now.

Wow Señor Verga congrats on planning a new mod.

I can't tell you I had a Smittybilt stinger like the one pictured on my 2 Dr.

It was an "okay" bumper it's heavy and the finish was okay. But that's all I can say about it. The welds were terrible and I had the older version that didn't have a gusseted stinger. MobyJR has the new version with gussets.

This is actually a decent bumper for you, it's economical and will get you the look you want.

Edit:
If you are thinking of going with this OR the PSC stinger (BFH I assume) I would recommend the PSC it is built with more quality just know you will need to modify your front end some (cutting) for the install.

save up for an evo, its cheaper then buying a cheap one then buying an evo:yup:

yea I was thinking in the trail stinger, but if I cut the frame I have no way in going back, or getting a different bumper in.

A full Evo it's like 900 bucks, you think it's better if I wait,save up for another month or 2 and than get the Evo?

Again just know two things as be prepared for them:
1: installation requires some cutting of the front frame rails (crash bar and bumper mounts)
2: the bumper will need to be finished (can of primer and Bedliner will get that job done)

if you want an evo then go evo right away dont waste money or time on another but if you want a PSC or anything else then go with that do what you want first dont waste time or money on anything else

.Yup, I love all stingers but I need help because I don't know what is the best for the bang, I will love to get the Evo but I can't wait no more lol.
 
It’s expensive to be cheap. Shittybilt has holes that never line up which make them a load of fun to install. Keep saving and buy EVO. :twocents:

then you have 3 options, 1 is learn patience, 2 is make more money, 3 is start selling stuff :yup:
 
I have the smittybuikt one and now want the evo! Will sell to u for 250 and its just 3 mos old. However, shipping from NJ to ca would be way too much $$

Heres the deal...
Install was a snap. Holes lines up fine and no cutting. Stinger looks great gusseted but does make a whistling noise at 40mph so u need to stick a piece of foam in it or something. It looks great but finish is textured which doesn't match most powdsrcoating. If u r on a budget, its great and accomplishes the look. If ur heart is in evo, do that BC u will always regret it

Psc looks great too bug there is nothing cooler than the EVO brand (with their cool font) on your jeep parts in my opinion

You wouldn't run the d rings and the stinger. It's one or the other. And you don't need the fairlead if you don't have a winch not to mention most winches come with a fairlead.

What he said. You're looking at $650 plus tax. D ring option is for those who run the 1/4 pounder without the stinger. The fairlead is for synthetic winch lines.
