Without question, Ridley Scott's Blade Runner is by far one of my favorite all time films ever made. To celebrate the UK re-release of Blade Runner to the big screen this coming April 2015, BFI created a new trailer using footage from the 2007 "Final Cut" and holy cow does it ever look good! Kinda sad that the art of making great trailers has gotten so much better over the years whereas the art of making great films, hasn't. Take a look at what they came up with.

Of course, this was the original trailer released back in 1982 - what a difference.

I sure do miss the great sci-fi films of yester-year. I so would love to see this on the big screen again. :grayno:

WOW! I can't wait. That looks amazing. I love older Sci-Fi movies.

There was a video game similar to the movie a long time ago, I remember really enjoying the game after seeing the movie.

This is going to be awesome. In other related news, I just found out that I'm probably a replicant.....

Great original Flick! I hear the new one is going to be kind of a search for Rick Deckard. I hope they don't F it up!!

I have to agree.....its rare to find a sequel that performs up to the expectation left by the original. I discount the modern method of filming two or three sequels at the same time as the original movie for later release.....I'm talking about a sequel made later based on a film that became a classic.
Terminator 2 was one of the few I can think of.

Haha! You got me ;)

Barstow, Holiday Inn Express, room 226, 8:35pm, Saturday, March 14. four knocks on the door (the first two soft, second two hard) a person will ask "who is there", you will respond with "I'm here to talk with my Uncle Larry about his 1970 El Camino"

;)

I think at this point maybe me, you, Sharkey, and one or two others know this reference. I'm going to make T-shirts with the quote. It shall never die....
