Auxiliary Switches - ARB compressor

My Gladiator did not come with the 4, prewired AUX switches, so I installed the aftermarket LASFIT switch bank. Easy install, comes with the 4 leads inside the cab and 4 near the battery, like OEM. Right now my KCs are wired to buttons 1 & 2. The LASFIT switches are rated at 30 AMPS each, is it safe to assume I can wire my single ARB air compressor to switch 4, the compressor draws max 25 amps under load. Obviously. I'm not an electrician. Thanks.lasfit.jpg

The ARB uses a relay wire to signal on/off. The power comes directly from the battery. That relay wire doesn’t draw much at all, (I think it’s only an 18 gauge wire), so it can go to a lower amperage switch.
 
I wouldn't waste a slot on there for turning an air compressor on/off. Odds are you're going to have a better use for those unused slots at a later time, and when you need to use your compressor you'll be stopped and out of the vehicle so that switch doesn't really need to be easily accessible from the driver seat.

Also, and this is just my opinion on wiring important items to switch pods - They often fail. Heat, water, etc. shortens their life and they blow fuses or just stop working. It's an inconvenience when you can't turn on an auxilary light, it's a problem when you can't turn on your air compressor, operate lockers, control your winch, or power your communications devices.
