ATX beadlock ring data

I'm trying to build beadlock wheels starting from steel wheels( daytona 17")
I have no doubts on how to make the inner ring ,that should weld on the wheels but I'm searching some data about the outside ring.
My idea is to laser cut it with aluminium alloy, ergal or anticordal.
Someone could help me with the dimensioning ( thikness, outside diameter and inner diameter).
One more parameter that could help me, is the diameter of the bead of the tire...17"?

Maybe it is a stupid project but I would like to try anyway...:)

Thanks!

They sell kits to fabricate your own beadlocks. Honestly I think they look shitty and have heard problems with air leaks. I would recommend against them but if you have your heart set why not contact KMC (ATX) directly and ask for their specs?

There are a couple beadlock kits out there you can buy and they are pretty cheap. I remember when I was thinking of doing it on my 16" wheels it's was like $250

Thanks! I know it but usually that kit doesn't have a centering for the tire. I would like also to machine the centering to optimize the balancing process. It would be machined on the inner ring and then it would be welded...
I have asked the data of the ATX because they are the best ones...I hope that this type of request isn't something wrong in terms of policy

I've looked at the diy kits and at the end of the day it's not worth the time and hassle plus the leaking and balancing issues. Yep they aren't cheap but lots of guys are running ATX, walker Evans, method and aev for a reason.

I have a friend who went the route of making his own beadlocks and IMO they turned out looking awesome and have worked well but after doing it he said he would never do it again. When paired with a good tire there is just too much weight, and too much work to make it worth while.

Really??? You don't think a company that makes a shit ton of rings will be competitive versus making some one offs. The only stupid idea was not having an open mind.

i think he was calling his own idea stupid after realizing its better just to purchase, like yall said.

Thanks!
Today I drew some 3D models and in the next days I'll try to involve some supplier to understand how much it could be cost and if it is feasible...
