Anyone running 33's and a leveling kit??

Caught the Bug
I am starting my shopping for wheels and tires, and have opted to stick with 17" or 16" wheels and with 33" tires. I am looking for some of the widest rubber I can manage to throw on my JK in that diameter. I also wanted to go with a leveling kit (a lot of recommendations for the EVO) instead of a 2.5"+ lift. Being that I am in Florida and there are not many rocks to crawl over here and the environment consists of sugar sand and mud, I feel the 33's would be sufficient and I won't need to regear- keeping gas mileage tolerable and still allowing me to park in the garage without scaping my roof.
All that in mind, anyone have some pics of them running 33's with 16's or 17's and a level kit? Just trying to get a feel for the look and to decide if I really would be happy with it. If you can throw the specs in there also, I would be appreciative. I know a lot of guys on here are running the 35's, but I don't want to run those until I have the bucks to regear, add a lift, and move out to AZ (eight years out).

33's with a leveling kit will be no problem at all. You will still want to calibrate your speedometer though.

I ran a leveling kit with 33's for almost two years before I upgraded the suspension on my JK. I had no issues at all. Like Eddie mentioned, you will need to recalibrate your speedo when you move up in tire height.

I'm here in central Florida and I'm running 305/70/16 on the stock steel wheels. I needed spacers up front so I didn't rub under full steering lock. I didn't even have a lift/leveling kit for a while. Then I installed 1.75" spacers. Ribs good on the street and offroad here. But I'm in the process of moving upward to get ready for 37s.

Here are a couple of shots of mine with 33s and the leveling lift before I upgraded to 35s. All I did to go to 35s was to chop the fenders.

Thank you for the input. I like the look. I also plan on getting a Procal to adjust the TPMS and the speedo.
