Been there, definitely an amazing place. It is on a reservation, so get there early or else you will waste HOURS wasting time waiting around for other tours to finish, or to move, since there are spots where you can't "pass" people. The first tour of the day is ideal (and has the best light.) Another small tip, if you own tripod, bring it. Tell them you are a professional photographer, and they will allow you to peel off the tourgroup and do your own thing. ;)

Definitely not a "hike." You'll be done in 2 hours tops, depending how fast the tour moves. If its the "busy season" the native guides "keep it movin."

The pictures from the inside don't look too bad. Similar to the slot canyons out here.

There are spots that are VERY narrow. I almost broke my arm because my camera bag got caught and threw me off a ladder. If you are a 400lb person (not saying you personally) there will be spots where you can't fit.

BTW, there are two antelope canyons....the upper, and the lower. The lower is the one you want.

This is a definite to do if your in the Page / Lake Powell area! We have had a boat on that lake for 15 year and finally took the tour last year and felt stupid for not doing it earlier! It is a great slot canyon, both the upper and lower. The lower is the narrower one but opens up once your 'in the first slot', the upper is pretty open all the way through.

I had taken some with the beam of light down from the roof but they came out crappy... need to learn to use the camera better!
It's well worth the tour fee.
