Andersen's build.

Decided to start a build thread just to track progress and leave it open for future mods. I've already done a few so I'll start from the beginning when I bough it new.

The day I bought it at the beginning of June 2015. A 2015 Bright White Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon.

Next came the lift. A hard decision for anyone on a budget. I went with the Teraflex 2.5 coil lift with their VSS tuned shocks and their monster front adjustable track bar. Bought a teraflex steering stabilizer as well to hold those 35s still.

After the lift went to take it off road to see how it performed compared to stock. I came across a stump I wanted to put my tire up and over and the long factory bumper got in the way and I dented it. So I looked at stubbys and the one I want just isn't in the budget for now. (I have a wife and 2.5 yr old son) so I looked into cutting the factory bumper and decided to cap it off with itself instead of the rough country caps.

Latest mod which I posted in another thread this week is another popular one..cutting the factory fenders. I wanted to still keep some of the tire covered because I do bring it in the mud pretty often and I like having the windows down out in the woods so the less mud in the cab the better. But I also wanted to gain the clearance between the tire and fender so I grabbed the sawzall and some tape and here's how she looks so far. I may chop more off and smooth the edges eventually but it works for now. I put some door trim on the edges and rattle canned the white metal on the inside black.

Did some construction site crawling the other day out of boredom.

Trimmed the fronts a little more and smoothed it out better. Sand paper and a wood block worked pretty well.
