I just wanted to share this truly amazing America proud story that took place in a small Northern Nevada community. It's a story of immigrants who came here almost 40 years ago, worked hard, raised a family and became true Americans that love this great country so much, they wanted to erect an enormous American flag to celebrate it on it's 250th birthday. You can read about their story here:

Oh, and did I mention Rosie cooks up some GREAT food too 😁

So awesome! This is how it's supposed to be. Come here and work hard along with the rest of us instead of gaming the system nd cheating your way to prosperity. Seems America is only broken in the big cities - out here in Rural America it still works (y)

Edit - have my flagpole lowered for the winter but miss seeing it - inspired me to order a new flag so I can raise it again

Great story and they did a great job! The arrangement and that backdrop, very nice.

Glad you could appreciate the story. Hard to believe Rosie got her start picking garlic in our little valley and is now a proud American who owns a wonderful restaurant, is beloved by the community and has kids that have college degrees. And yes, I do agree, seems that this only seems to work in rural America.

I’ve been following that on the local pages, really cool too see. I’ve been stopping at the heyday inn for lunch on my travels. I’ll have to stop by Rosie’s Monday. I’m heading to truckee for work.

Heyday is awesome and one of our favorite stops. In my opinion, Rosie's has much better Mexican food than El Alteneo, the place we took you to before the run we did but being that you've become such a food snob, I doubt you'd like it LOL

lol, 🤣. I prefer steak over Mexican food. My manager Frank is traveling with me, he for sure will want Mexican food. So I’ll give it a shot.
