Ever placed your order on amazon and thought "damn I didn't need this until I saw it 5 seconds ago, but I NEED IT NOW!"? Well your needs and requests have been heard. Check out Amazon's new 30 minute order to delivery method.

I wanna see the one capable of delivering a full width rear bumper with tire carrier... 😀

The comments crack me up. Some are actually contemplating this as a reality.

This is a real idea that Amazon has been fondeling for awile now. There are still details that need to be hammered down obviously but it is an awesome concept.

Now, the real test wouldn't be a full width tire carrier but 5 37 inch tires :yup:

I know it's a real concept, but I will be amazed if anything like this is in the air (in this capacity) in the next 8-10 years.

Here in Ohio a land owner owns his plot of land not only on the surface but below ground (2 miles) and into the air (5000) feet. If I have anything like this over my property it WILL be shot down.

My guess is it would only work if you are withing a certain radius of one of their hubs. I don't know if you guys have one near you or not. Why would you shoot it down? But I'm sure don't need to worry, amazon is a huge corporation they will take all laws into consideration.

Shoot it down. Take the stuff.

Saw the episode yesterday, they said it was only for packages that were less than 5 lbs, which was 80 percent of their shipping.

I believe this will happen. Amazon has amazing abilities. I placed an order Saturday afternoon and had it by Sunday afternoon. I didn't believe anybody delivered on a Sunday. Not to mention over Thanksgiving weekend!

I would agree...except it appears Amazon is trying to get rid anything associated with human interaction and cost. Having a pick up spot would do exactly the opposite of that.

I think I would order a bunch of stuff just to watch that thing come to my house... That will be incredible if they can pull it off
