81 Cherokee Chief Slow Resto

Now that my jk modding slowed down a little I thought it would be a good time to start wrenching on my uncle’s 1981 Cherokee chief

Some back story- my uncle and I share the same passion for Jeeps and he was in the process of fixing up his chief, unfortunately he is now in a wheelchair and can’t finish the build so I decide to pick up where he left off.

Now that I have some extra time on my hands I’m in the process of trying to get it to run and drive and would love some help from the classic jeep experts as I go through the process to get her up and running again[emoji1303][emoji1303][emoji1303][emoji1303]

Had a 77 nowhere as nice as yours, but it was so fun to drive. Looks to be among the last of the Cherokee full size based on the grill. Love the Chief with it's big steel flares.
