2024 JL Sport S 42k miles.

After having a shop double check my lift kit I installed, they noticed a loud whine. Tbh I am a noob (clearly) so I thought it was related to my tire wear pre upgraded tires and then just larger tires being loud. Turns out it was the rear differential.

They didn’t want to make it a warranty fix at first since I didn’t change the fluid exactly at 40k but they ended up doing it. They had my vehicle for 12 days…. Ubering to downtown HTX got expensive (work). I didn’t wheel hard or even do anything crazy. I suggest people check their fluid and change before 40k if they have a new model just to make sure the dealer can’t even attempt the bs. More of a rant here. Thanks all.

Also, only the rear differential was bad. The front I had to pay for. They said if I did it myself the warranty would void, so I didn’t risk it.
This is a total lie and scam to suck more money from you.

There is federal legislation that allows consumers to work on thier vehicle without voiding warranty. Magnusun act???
