12v vs 20v Cordless Ratchet?

I'm the quintessential late adopter... preferring air tools over just about anything else. But recent experience with a high quality 20v cordless drill (along with watching Eddie wield his cordless ratchet & impact drivers with skill & verve in the Wayalife videos) has me convinced it's time to quit fighting with the air hose and go cordless.

I'm fairly familiar with the preferred brands out there but pertaining to a ratchet, is it better to go 20v than 12v? Looks like the 20v is a bit more bulky and more expensive but I have no experience with either. Is 20v worth the extra cost & size?

Thanks!

I have switched most of my air tools at work over to cordless. Mainly 12v Milwaukee 3/8, 1/4, and drills. They do just as good if not better than my air stuff did
