So Im gonna start changing my oil again at home-
with the 3.6 ( 2019) is there any long term benefit to running 5W30 vs 0W-20 ?
Going to use what Ed recommended-

Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic

Typically, I find that people say the stupidest things on the interweb. There's a reason why oil weights have gotten lighter over the years and a big part of it is that engine and oil technology has gotten better. A lighter weight oil means less internal engine friction and that means better fuel economy. Sticking with what Jeep recommends is always gonna be your best bet.

Stick with the recomended. It's all calculated for clearances and oriface openings, lifter operation and the control valves in a lot of engines. Use the wrong oil and you could have issues.
