I would be interested how you do the turbo piping. You would be getting into some money there. As far as the trans you can't beat the 6r80 auto trans ford has right now. They take a beating from the mustang crowd.

Cobra 75 is terrible. Wish I would have never got the thing. Range sucks, you can't hear with external speaker and or handheld speaker, you have to keep the SQ all the way up so you don't get interference. All this with about a 1-1.5 SWR.

I'm about to pull the trigger on my rear bumper. I've narrowed it down to LOD or JCR. My front bumper is JCR, but what keeps leaning me towards the LOD is the versatility. The LOD rear bumper comes pre-finished - i know you can get them un finished but for 24 bucks thats a good deal to go...

Yea try putting the base of the antenna to the same potential as the radio ground. That should do it. I have the same problem but I'm too lazy to do a strap right now.

Connect the leads straight to the battery(w/ fuse of course). Why are you using a relay, so you can turn it off and on with something like an Spod? You're probably getting noise (electronic noise) due to that relay. If that doesn't work check the resistance reading of the base of your antenna...
