Yeah, I originally had the 6 and had it installed, but I could not get the hood to close comfortably. Then I saw the 8 on sale on Amazon for about $20-$30 more than I paid for the 6 and I jumped on it! My wallet wasn't happy with me. :LOL: We're going to install the 6 gang on my son's Wrangler...

I switched to the 8 gang Auxbeam. It has a lower profile. I realize that may not work for everyone, but something to consider I also modified the bracket to make it fit in this space right over the fuse box. Worked out great in the 3.6L engine.

I currently have a hard tonneau cover and it does a great job of keeping things secure. But based on some of these ideas, I may change...

This is the eventual dream.

So my Gladiator is actually my first truck and my first 4x4, so I'm using it! First off, I'm running a Rough Country hard bed cover. Its great. Super easy to install and uninstall if I need to. Hauling around a bunch of radio installation gear... Hauling my son's 35 inch Nitto Ridge...

My son and I are in kind of a Jeep build "arms race"... He's ahead of me right now because he doesn't have a mortgage and has nothing else to spend his money on. 🤣

A couple of weeks ago I installed an Auxbeam 8 gang switch panel, 20 inch light bar, and 3 inch pod lights. So far I'm pretty happy with it. I'll eventually upgrade, likely to an S-Pod and Rigid light, but this will do for now.

Nope. Just GMRS and ham. I don't have a CB. I do have a couple of HT's as well so that I can loan them out or give them to a spotter.
