new to the forum, need some help

If you can afford them, the baja designs JK fogs are fantastic, I just recently got them after getting rid of my OEMs with yellow HIDS (which were fantastic). The baja kit is IP69 rated so they can be fully submerged while still running. Not a cheap option, but probably one of the better ones...

The Official I Hate wayoflife / Eddie Thread

Not YouTube but saw this today Sigh, I highly doubt Eddie ever asked for a free JCR bumper. Sad.

California peeps, which shock can survive this? Sort of off topic

So if you have a few minutes, watch this video.... Im sure many of you Cali guys and gals know exactly what road this is. I put the thread here because it's kind of general chit chat, and not even Jeep specific. After my recent experience in wyoming with washboard roads, I realized quickly...

Jeeping Across America - Western Follies

So it's that time of year again, time for an annual Jeep trip thread, only this time, I'll do it a little differently. This time, in addition to a bunch of photo gear, I also brought along quite a bit of video gear as well, so I'll post up a short trailer of the trip, and then post up the full...

EMMA in all her ELEGANCE - TOTAL MAKEOVER of a 1969 Jeepster Commando

The issue most have, and Im guilty of this as well, when it comes to automotive finishing, the prep is what REALLY matters. You took the time to do everything right, step by step, most just rush it along because they want to get to the pretty and fun stuff (like paint and bedliner) but after...

EMMA in all her ELEGANCE - TOTAL MAKEOVER of a 1969 Jeepster Commando

You probably have more experience that I do when it comes to bedliner, but the DIY stuff I've seen people use including big brands like herculiner and such have all been pretty crappy when compared to Line X. I just had my rear bumper coated in Line X and that stuff is incredibly tough...

EMMA in all her ELEGANCE - TOTAL MAKEOVER of a 1969 Jeepster Commando

Wow, absolutely stunning. Question, is LineX really that expensive by you? Around me, if you brought them a vehicle in that state (no stripping or anything required, ready to spray), they would charge you $175-225 to fully spray the inside of your Jeep, which seems pretty comparable to the...

    Lets play, who's the douche....

So take a look at this video...audio sucks, but corvette guy parks away from everything and everyone....SEEMS like maybe he took up two spaces, can't tell.....Jeep decides to be "the punisher" and park super close to the vette making it hard for the owner to get in.....owner gets in, slashes...

    Winch Cover

I dont run a cover, and after 4 years, some parts of my Zeon faded to basically white, but the main body is still 100% on and black. I have learned to live with it, just a pet peeve of mine to see whited out faded plastic. Having said that, I do have the Zeon rope cover, which is a plastic...

    Exploring Wyoming

Hi guys, I am planning another Jeep trip with the wife sometime in late august. Originally thought about going back to colorado and running all the trails in San Juan county that I didn't have time for a few years ago, but decided maybe I should go explore Wyoming. I was there once as a kid...

"What the hell do I do now?" An educational thread for wheelin' beginners

So I thought about this thread while reading one of the travel threads here, and figured it would be useful. There are many members here that have never suffered a mechanical breakdown offroad, so they have zero experience in fixing one. Many don't carry spare parts. Many only carry basic...

    Fumoto Valves, anyone using one?

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you are running a Fumoto drain valve on your Wrangler? I've run them on other vehicles, and they do make oil changes an absolute breeze, but I was a little apprehensive of running one on the jeep, didn't want to add a catastrophic weak point (possibly) for...

    Serious question about big tires....

Ok, I was browsing the recent rubicon thread and came across this photo.... How do you guys with the 37s, or better yet, 40s, change a spare out on the trail? Now I get it if you are wheeling with a lot of people that can help, but how do you do it if you're alone? How do you get the flat...

JK Brake Pads....what do you use?

I'll be needing pads for the front soon, and was reading the writeup in the maintenance section, and saw that Eddie was using NAPA pads. I don't have a napa around here, but I do have an autozone with their duralast pads, of course I could run OEMs and spend probably a bunch more money, or...

Daystar Jeep Renegade Rock Sliders Installed!

They are not that little. I was next to one the other day, and it's a fairly decent sized vehicle. It sorta looks like a mini countryman sized vehicle in photos, but it's larger in real life.
