    2 Questions

Just out the 40s on and went wheeling this weekend. I was in the front fenders and liners pretty bad. Fender chop get from rugged ridge is on the way. Took the liners out and that helped. However until I can find some better liners, is it safe to drive/be on the trail/rain/mud with the liners...

    Maxxis Rzr Tires. Any good?

Over the past few months, I've developed a front end shimmy. Happens when I am driving between 52 - 57 mph. The shimmy goes away when I drive below that or faster, and the jeep drives fine. I'll admit I've done a shit job rotating my 38in Ridge Grapplers and have developed some high spots and...

    Coil Spring Question

Is it possible to run different coil spring lengths? Little back story... Before I did the 392 swap, I ran the metal cloak dual 3.5in lift with the 3.6 v6 and was pretty happy with the setup. I only had 3/4 to a 1in of rake, which worked out perfect for me. Fast forward, and I've done the...

    392 swap

Hello Wayalife. Finally able to do the fun one and swap the 3.6 etorque out of my 2021 JLU Willys and put in a 392 hemi (kit is from Dakota Customs). Here are few pics of current process.

Beefed up 44 ok for 38s?

Happy Monday Wayalife. Looking at axles and am wondering if the DynaTrac/Currie/UD44 upgraded axles would be ok to run for 38s and bead locks? Something tells me I might need to save and just go the 60 route but curious about what everyone thinks.

    DynaTrac Ball Joints

Just had new DynaTrac ball joints installed about 2000 miles ago and I've noticed a loud creaking noise coming from them. To check the torque on the castle nut, does the front axle need to be lifted up?

Stock Inner Fender - Ok without'em?

Just put on some Falcon 3.3 shocks and wondering if I can run with no front fender liners for a bit till the new ones come in. They were already pretty tore up so just left them off. Is it safe to run with out them? Also pic for attention. This is with the new 3.5in springs KMC wheels.

JL Steering - I hate it

Morning Wayalife - Let me drop some back story on my jeep as I am still having some steering issues. So a few months back I got the bad case of death wobble and I wanted to replace a few things so below is what got swapped out. - 2.5 ton RPM kit - DynaTrack ball joints (around 30k miles so it...

    3.5in and new kmc wheels

2.5in just wasn’t cutting anymore so scored a 3.5in from metal cloak and happy to report the Willy rides good. Saved up for some wheels and was finally able to score a set of KMC Grenades. My local shop did good with painting the rings. Time to hit the rocks!

    Me again - UD60s

I am getting mixed answers and figured I need to come here for the right answers! Do you need to break in new axles IF the gears we're already built with the axle? I ordered UD60s with the 4.88 years so it's not like I had gears already in them and are needing to swap. OR do I need to take it...

    Those running tons..

I went with 4.88 gearing as that is what I was running on the stock axles with my 38s. It was snappy and felt like it did stock so that's the gearing ratio I chose when ordering the UD. Driving around with the same 38s and now new UD60s you can feel the weight of those bad boys, but the so...

    New KMC wheels and UD60s

This has been extremely fun to build so far. I first bought the Willy’s for trail riding but I went out with some other Jeeps and crawled some rocks. Officially hooked.

    Steering Upgrade?

My power steering is making some high-pitched noises and I am pretty sure it's due to the new tires I've thrown on it. Does anyone know what steering upgrades I should do? The list below of what the jeep has: - JKS 2.5 - New front UD 44 with E Locker - 4.88 Gears - Adams front Drive Shaft -...

    BFG Km3

Hello! 37s are slowing hitting the market again and my local shop has some 37x12.50 and 37x13.50 BFG Km3 tires in stock. Anyone have any good experiences with these tires? I’m currently running Nitto Ridge Grapplers in a 35 and looking to go bigger.

Got $$ burning a whole in my pocket!

So I have been taking the 2021 Jeep Willys 4 door sport that is on a JKS 2.5in with 35s (v6 auto) on a few road trips and have taken it on a few rock climbing trails. A few other buddies that tagged along were both in rubicons and smoked me on a few trails. With this jeep, I am wanting to...

    Ugh - Spacers

So got my 2021 JLU Willys and ordered my JKS 2.5 with 35x12.50 r17 Nitto ridges. Now, come to find out the wheels I ordered are on a 4-6 month backorder and my lift goes on here in a few weeks. I know spacers are hit and miss but looks like I'll have to run'em for a while. Anything I should...
