I have the same intermittent issue. I've come to notice the sequence of warning lights is: vehicle stability comes back on service 4WD swaybar - which then stays on and lastly the 2/4 H/L indicator goes dark, changing from low to high or 2wd changes nothing. stop, shut off, restart, everything...
