Dorman exhaust manifold cracked in 3 months.

So I found a way to prevent it. At least it worked for me and I know it sounds crazy but hear me out. I have changed 3 out on my 2010 JKU, I went to a local exhaust shop here in Tucson AZ. The technician who is a friend of mine installed a new one, I believe he got it from NAPA, so I am unsure...

Oh also OVERLANDERJK, I wasn’t trying to be rude or disrespectful/dismissive earlier. I was just trying to make a long story short/brief.

    OK stupid question on wheels

Yea, they use steel inserts. Definitely worth it considering the price of a new wheel and the fact they don’t make Slabs anymore. It only cost me 75 dollars.

    OK stupid question on wheels

Ok, to be more specific I was trying to not drag the whole thing out. Little further explanation, I got on the pavement and if you been to Tombstone AZ, there is the main road that you hit to get to the I10 and it is 60 MPH, I was headed down that road at about 65 to 70 (Yes I was speeding). She...

    OK stupid question on wheels

The stud holes are damaged slightly. I did however today find a reputable local wheel shop and the owner said he can easily repair the rim by adding in steel inserts. So I am going to give it a try for 75 dollars. Here are some pictures of the damage. Someone loosened my lug nuts in Tombstone...

Important!!!! New offroaders please review for your own safety.

Do not disagree with you, but I have seen a lot of people that are generally not offraoders, just weekend adventurers trying to help people out of flooded areas here in Arizona. My road to my house constantly gets washed out. it is a paved road but during the rains rivers will form and go across...

Important!!!! New offroaders please review for your own safety.

Eddie if this in apporpriate post please let me know, but I think it is very important and could save someone's life. Especially, since someone has already lost their life here in Arizona with his wife and kids in the car at the time. This was a a situation that started with good intentions of...

    Tire width question

Ok, I will put in my two cents. I had the Toyo Open Country tires that were 37x13.5x17 they are a great tire dont get me wrong, but they are stiff due to being E Rated. I just replaced them with the Nitto Ridge Grapplers that are 37x12.5x17 and they are D rated.

    Jinxed Myself

I do not blame you at all Eddie. I plan on swapping these for some good Chromoly Shafts with full circle clips. If you could let me know what brand you prefer? Between boots cracking and greasing them and they fling grease everywhere. Especially here in Tucson AZ, where it gets 110 degrees. The...

    Jinxed Myself

It was just swapping the boot, but it is a pain. The boots are like a hard plastic and crack often. I had to use a heat gun to heat the boot to get it pliable to be able to get it on the axle shaft. Just a pain.
