    Rotating your Spare Tire in.

I do the same. Big knobby tires wear fast if you don't rotate them often enough.

    Learning to weld

Stick can be nice if your doing repairs on stuff. Sometimes the head on the mig is to big to get into places that you can get a stick. Also you can actually bend the stick and weld around corners if necessary. With a couple 12v batterys and a couple pairs of jumper cables you have a stick trail...

    The Winch Thread

Its was really easy on my winch. Put the winch in neutral and pull all the steel cable out until you have access to the allen screw that holds it in place. Remove the screw and the cable. Check for rough spots on the drum and sand if needed. At this point I did replace my roller fairlead for an...

    Bestop stretch!

Maybe throw it in the fridge for a couple hours to shrink it back down? Could also get some wood or metal and make some bows to hold it up.

    Rock sliders maintenance?

If there are any sharp pointy gouges/scratches (stuff that can cut you) Ill hit them with a sanding wheel on my ginder. If they are just visual I dont even bother with any prep, I just hit them with black rustoleum.

    Front or rear lockers?

I would prefer an auto-locker over a limited-slip in the rear if I were going to go non selectable. I really dont like the way auto lockers push when your on slick surfaces (like ice/snow) and limited slips are pretty useless on the rocks so Id much rather have selectable over either. I think...

    Good compressors

I have a Vair 400P. Takes about 15-20 minutes to air up my 37's from 10/12PSI to 28PSI. I had a Shitybilt and it lasted a total of about 12 air ups and died. Ive been running the Vair for a year now (many many air ups) and its still going hard.

Winch mounting plate for 2013 Stock bumper...

Smittybilt makes one that works with the stock bumper. It was kind of a pain in the ass to mount but it has worked well on many recoveries.

    Rocker Guards vs. Rock Sliders

TJ's actually do ok with body mounted sliders as the tub is heavier continuous material and the Jeep is relatively light. JK's need frame mounted sliders if your going to wheel hard.

    Lockers or Not

I could be wrong in my thinking but I would think the Rubi 4:1 transfer case would be overkill for the muddy sandy trails typical to FL. I love my Rubi though.

    Viair air system

Ive been using the Viair 400P for a little over a year now. Usually end up airing up my Jeep and one or two others with it when we get off the trail. My 37's are highway ready in like 15-20 minutes.
