    KMCs and Greasing Your RCVs

It's not terrible to do but I wish I could have a simple little 'hack' method like you got here.

    KMCs and Greasing Your RCVs

A nice and simple solution. I got to take my hubs apart to grease mine. Also...this post reminds me that I am overdue and need to go grease them.

392 XR takeoffs for JLU Willys

A 392 XR take off suspension will get you ~1.5" of lift over your current Willys factory suspension. IMHO unless the parts are very cheap and you only want to run 35s I would get something different. I posted mine on FB for 2 years and finally sold all the shocks, arms, and more for $100.

    Jeep GPS

I tried using the onboard navigation on the 2018 JLUR I bought brand new. I lived in Dallas at the time and it was out of date off the lot. Since then I have always used android auto or carplay with google maps/waze. I even removed the nav icon off the shortcuts.

    Aux. Switches.

Through the uconnect screen you should see options for these switches. You can toggle them to latching or temp and a few other things. If you do not see them listed there you need to turn the switches on in the computer. If they are factory installed and under warranty get the dealer to help...

    Best skids / armor?

I understand the arguments against skids and would say your casual driver certainly does not need them. Personally I run them. I've seen y-pipes & trans/oil pans get crushed/pierced on the trail. I've also seen the driver side exhaust loop on the JLs get smashed. In my case the JL392 exhaust is...

    Heavy tool bag.

I use a couple packout containers and a bracket that I bolted on top of a cargo drawer that I have. Keeps stuff smaller and easy to carry but sometimes it's a pain in the dick to have to dig through the pile to get to the bottom for the stuff I need.

2024 JLR - CV Axle Shafts

They seemed plenty strong on my JL392. I was running 37s and wheeled a lot from Moab to Windrock without any issues from them. I didnt shy away from hitting harder trails with them either.

    392 or Bronco Raptor

I have a JL392 on tons w/40s and while I dont hate the new Broncos I don't want one. A guy I wheel with a lot has a non raptor bronco and for a mostly stock vehicle it seems up to snuff. I would say it's too fat and lacks flex. I've never even seen a Braptor off pavement in person and I spend a...

    Power Steering Hot Warning?

I do not think the issue with the factory light is the fluid getting hot. I think it is the pump itself. I have no doubt that a cooler could help but I dont think it would help things much. That said I went with the PSC electric kit. The sad part is that it arrived yesterday but it was the...

    Power Steering Hot Warning?

I frequently get that while offroad in mine. Ive been told its related to the electric pump getting hot and dialing down its performance. When this happens on the trail I do notice steering is slightly less responsive but it doesnt cause any other issues. I have a PSC kit arriving on Monday so...

    backup camera unavailable

My 18 JLUR use to do this a lot and it would randomly come back. My 21 has yet to do it. If it continues and you havent made any changes try pulling fuse f97 and leave it out for an hour.

    JT&JL Navigation

I used the in dash nav in the 8.4 once and never again. If you want tracks and don't want to spend money I highly recommend Gaia maps. Its compatible with android auto/carplay and works great for me and everyone else who I know that uses it.
