    Antirock Vs. Swayloc Vs. Genright

You guys sure get pretty defensive as soon as someone doesn’t agree with your opinions on parts, but don’t worry I’ll see my way out of this forum. Bye Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

    Antirock Vs. Swayloc Vs. Genright

Trust me, I’m no expert and never have claimed to be. You guys have been wheeling for much longer than myself, I just find it ironic that a couple years ago boat style sliders, RCV axle shafts and skid plates that mount to the motor mounts were highly frowned upon around here. What were the...

    Antirock Vs. Swayloc Vs. Genright

I think if Evo came up with an antirock a lot more people on this site would be all over it like a fat kid on a candy bar, after all I have seen at least 3 parts that were hated on this forum going on the WAYALIFE JL recently Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

    Antirock Vs. Swayloc Vs. Genright

I have one and I like the way it handles off-road, yes it could have been a little bit stiffer for on-road use but it works. It’s a Jeep and not an M3, my opinion. You have way more flex than I do though Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

I bolted it down, I used some 1/4 inch angle to make brackets that I welded on the frame, from there u used some bolts with fender washers. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

Thanks for taking the time to send me the parts links, maybe some day in the future. For now I have to finish a couple of minor thing and get ready for both, the Toyota jamboree (going with my brother in law in his 80 series) and the Jeep jamboree in Amarillo Sent from my iPhone using...

Yeah I didn’t think it would be as wobbly as it is with 4 jacks, but that was information I didn’t have until I had welded them on and at that point I wasn’t cutting them back off. Maybe I can find a urethane liner of some sort to get rid of some of the play 🤷*♂️ Sent from my iPhone using...

    Trailer build

That’s the exact same thing I heard about the 3500 lb leaf springs, they are way too stiff for a 1200 lb trailer loaded and on top of that they are only 25 inches long, so they don’t flex very well. They are just not a good option for an off-road trailer. People use them because they are $40...

    Trailer build

I thought about doing that but I didn’t go that route for a couple of reasons 1. Leaf springs and solid axles are super simple and spare parts can be sourced just about anywhere. 2. Cost, the timbrens are pretty expensive compared to leaf springs 3. The trailer rides very nice because it’s not...

Thanks guys, I did overbuilt it a bit. It has 1/4 inch shackle mounts and leaf spring brackets, plus I didn’t show you guys that every crossmember is gusseted. Sent from my iPhone
