A few buddies and I are planning a trip out to Barnwell Mountain on Saturday, October 29. This will be my fifth trail ride there at Barnwell, and I wanted to invite my fellow Renegade owners to join in on the fun.

You can lock the Renegade Trailhawk into 4x4, and you can put it into 4 low, but it does not have a locking differential. The Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk has a rear locking diff, but the Renegade does not.

I I came to Wayalife because I wanted to experience the sense of community one enjoys when owning a Jeep. Jeeps are the absolute coolest vehicles on the planet! While I don't own a Wrangler, I have a close friend that has one. This cage would make an awesome gift.

While it certainly isn't a Wrangler, my buddy with a Wrangler now believes it is a Jeep!

I agree. I talked with a guy out on the trail that had a Renegade Trailhawk with the 1.5" lift, and he was doing three diamond trails with stock tires.

I also wanted to say that two out of the four times I've been to Barnwell were on a Monday. They are not usually open on Monday, so it wasn't busy at all either time (Memorial Day, Labor Day).

We stuck with the two diamond trails. The Wrangler and Land Rover could've handled the three diamond trails, but I think me and the Cherokee would have issues. Ground clearance is a major problem.

There was supposed to be one more Wrangler with us. He would've been bored out of his mind as his Jeep is pretty radical. It was the first off-road trip for this Wrangler and Cherokee. It was th second time on the trail for the Land Rover and fourth for my Renegade. Nobody got stuck or...

There really wasn't anything we faced that was difficult for the Wrangler.
