Thanks for the response Eddie! I came upon that discovery late last night. Ran out there In The dark and found it was only being held with one bolt, so I took it off, but the aluminum cap on the master cylinder is on there pretty tight and I couldn't get my crescent wrench in there with the...

Worked on the jeep a little bit today, replaced my temp gauge. Replaced ampmeter with a voltmeter, and also been working on my lighting issues. I wired a hot wire and directly tested my headlights, they work, so gutted all the rest of the wires and got a flip switch for the lights and will be...

Had a few minutes before lunch so Harvey started right up and I was messing with the gears and looks like the 2wd is working fine for the most part, 4wd as well. So maybe I just knocked some things loose and old harvey just needs to stretch his legs a bit! Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE...

Just a quick update, gas tank came in the mail today, got it installed, finished up some wiring and got Harvey running today. Even took him for a little circle around the yard. But this triumph only leads to more projects. Next is to get the brakes working, and double check the transfer case...

I also got some more work on moving the seats back. I outlined and cut my wheel wells out. Test fitted seats, I need so widen the wholes out just a little bit, and get gas tank in so I can figure out exactly where to re extend the front frame legs. But mostly just needed another set of hands. So...

Ok, good to know. The glass one I will probably end up getting. It's quite a bit cheaper, and my uncle and I talked about adding in a separate fuel filter in the line as well. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

Also good to know. Question for you guys, I think I am going to need to replace my fuel pump. Is there any pros or cons to the glass top vs metal top? $49-$80 difference roughly Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

Thanks, yea I noticed on walcks site they sell some omit ada stuff. I went with the gas tank from walcks because I had a sale and free shipping, so I picked up a brand new metal tank tax and shipped for $165 Figured that was hard to beat. Just waiting to see when it will eat here. Sent from...

Yea it is. Wishing the gas tank would get on it's way so I could get it going and drive it. Ordered it from Walck's 4wd on Monday. Still hasn't said it's been shipped yet. Anyone have any experience with them? Or preferences? Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

So once I saw how the rinoliner was coming off. I decided while I'm sitting around waiting for the other projects I could go ahead and start the process of taking the liner off of the windshield in prep for getting a new one put in. This project I won't need the help of other hands so I'll keep...

While waiting on gas tank, I need to try and get the seats put in. They are aftermarket and slightly bigger than the stock seats. 2 issues, (1)the ginormous steering wheel. And (2)the seats are so far forward that I can't move my feet from one pedal to the next. So I am going to try and figure...

So I ordered a new tank and am debating on going ahead and ordering a new fuel pump as well. Is there a difference between a glass top or metal top fuel pump? Almost twice the price for the metal top. Also I kind of like calling the Jeep Harvey, what do y'all think ? Any other opinions? Sent...

Pulled the gas tank once I noticed it wasn't even hooked up. Some rust, inside is pretty dirty with old gas and the rust has created a few holes in the bottom.. So options, try and repair gas tank or just get a new one with piece of mind. Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app
