    Balancing beads

Someone was reading the internet from someone else who said they use them and “no issues”. I see this play out on the Facebook groups, and one guy who always say he has “no issues” with the 6” Rough Country lift that he bought for $900 will come out of the woodwork to say the balance beads work.

VIDEO : HOW TO Replace the Main & Auxiliary Battery on a JL Wrangler / JT Gladiator

So, I jumpstarted the battery and let it run for about a half hour yesterday, and the Bankster the Rubi sat all last night in just about freezing temps, and mid 30s throughout the day. I just went out and it fired right up. So, I drive my grandson into school tomorrow and decide if I run it...

I’m old school and like getting the acoustic hummers. Like MTV Unplugged. 😆 Oh That has some of my mom’s 1980 AMC Eagle injected into it.

Duck left on my door handle

Thus far, I’ve avoided having ducks left on my TJ X and the JLUR. Winning! 🙂

VIDEO : HOW TO Replace the Main & Auxiliary Battery on a JL Wrangler / JT Gladiator

I need to pick your brain on this. Because the complaint is that the crank and aux are in parallel, but when I was thinking of trying to isolate them, and maybe use a different type of battery for one or the other, I was told it wouldn’t work, but not a real explanation why, except that both...

VIDEO : HOW TO Replace the Main & Auxiliary Battery on a JL Wrangler / JT Gladiator

Thanks for the advice! I don’t think I want to do the auxiliary battery delete that everyone talks about online. But I’m wondering if a battery management system, similar to RedArc, might get the crank and aux out of parallel, and isolated from each other. I’m only thinking about it because I...

VIDEO : HOW TO Replace the Main & Auxiliary Battery on a JL Wrangler / JT Gladiator

My JLUR, 3.6 manual won’t start tonight. It’s getting down to freezing temps in Philly. Looks like tomorrow will be experiment time to see how good or bad I am at pulling both batteries.

    Mail Call - 1975 Jeep DJ5

I just saw a stock DJ today in my neighborhood in Philadelphia. It looks like the frame might be broken on it, as there is a squat in the middle of the wheel base, about where the seats are. I’ll snap a picture of it next time.

    Jeep Pausing Wrangler Production

I’m not going to touch the politics of anything. But, the prices started going wonky quite a while ago, if my memory is correct. I’ve seen this a few times where a product is popular, then they Fonzie it and jump the shark.

    Jeep Pausing Wrangler Production

I wonder if this is the same thing Harley Davidson went through some (15? 20?) years back. They were in demand, so they jacked up their prices and brought out new lines, and rode high for a few years, then saw demand drop.
