    MattMc's build thread

Happy Birthday to me! I picked up a Warn Zeon 10-S from 4WP today. Warn is running a rebate until the end of December so, I'm going to be getting $100 off with that, plus 4WP had $125 off, plus tax off ($67.50) here in GA. I think that's a pretty good deal, since Warns are unilaterally priced...

    Routine maintenance

I'm just noticing that you're in a Renegade, not a Wrangler. Most of the advice here was in reference to a wrangler, and I'm not sure if it would cross over. In that case I'd stick with the owners manual.

    Routine maintenance

You're gonna get a wide range of answers here. I think 10-15k is going to be where most say. 5k if you use cheap stuff.

Is it possible to fit 5 37" x 12.5" nitto trail grapplers in a JKU?

I was only able to fit 3 and they were not mounted. If I had taken more time to figure it out, it may have been doable, but the tire store is only like 10 minutes away from me. Good luck!

    ARB Twin air compressor

To anyone thinking about installing one of these and wondering how to get the power wires through the grommet in the firewall underneath the battery tray, the plug on the end of the wires can be disassembled. Save yourself the trouble and look it up on YouTube. Learn from my mistakes...

    ARB Twin air compressor

Has anyone done a passenger seat install on one of these? I just got mine delivered, and I'm a bit unsure on the length of the supplied harnesses.

    ARB Twin air compressor

Thanks for the answer everyone. I knew it was probably an easy answer, but I don't electricity very well. Specific thanks to Swampdog for letting me air up with his. Convinced me that I needed one. ARB should hire that guy!

    ARB Twin air compressor

So, I'm looking at this system in the near future. My question is, 12v or 24v? The specs on both are the same, so I'm assuming this a compatibility thing?

    Warn Zeon 12S Platinum

I'm sure you'll eventually be looking for a tuner for your build. Just FYI that the AEV Procal has a function for adjustable high idle for heavy winching or any other heavy electrical draw type of stuff. Not sure if other tuners do this.

    Trailhawk wheels, backspace

I think offset is the opposite of backspace. I think it's measured from the center of the wheel. Outboard is backspace. Inboard is offset. I think...

    Synthetic winch line questions

I took a winching class at Uwharrie Off road training center, and this is how they said to do it. Not quite like in the pictures though. Lay it parallel with the center of the drum and tape the whole length of the drum. They actually said not to trust the bolt/ screw. Also never go below 7 wraps...

2016 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk Spare Key

We always called it a valet key. Used to be a key that would start the car, but not open locked glove boxes and consoles. Since going to push button starts, I think it's the opposite. Give the valet the fob, keep the key, after locking the compartments.
