I personally wouldn't exceede about 20k on Dino oil, 40k on synthetic. However, for heavy use and frequent water crossings it doesn't hurt to change it more often. I use Dino oil because if my auto lockers and change it every 10k max, usually less. Lots of unavoidable water and mud around me tho.
