Just looking at the two Jeeps, one might think the Liberty is lighter. But both my Liberty and my 2018 JLUR both weigh in at about 5K pounds, And I know the Liberty was that heavy, as I had it over scales more than once.

Yes, try Hill Descent sometime. It definitely makes a bit of noise working. But in the right spots, it's nice.

Well, yes and no. In neutral and coasting I'd assume you'd get an "idle" reading for mpg, but I've never tried that. But it's not that as I descend the grade is so steep as to "pull" the engine into higher RPMs. The RPM is fairly low when it's holding back properly, I'd guess about 1,500. And...
